Care & Management of Dementia
Objective of the Course
More than 4 million people in India are estimated to have some form of Dementia. Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form. Even though it cannot be cured, it can be managed well. The objective of this course is to create understanding and increase the knowledge of the Dementia care Givers and other functionaries/people who are working in this area so that they can be more effective.
Target Group
The main target groups are the functionaries of Old Age Homes/ Day Care Centres / State Government/NGOs/ policy makers working in the field of Dementia/ students in Schools/colleges/Universities and the persons willing to work as Dementia care-givers.
