Course on Transgender Issues

Objective of the Course

There is a need to bring the marginalized community of Transgender to mainstream and provide equal opportunities to them. The objective of the course is to increase the knowledge and understanding regarding the various issues faced by the Transgender persons, provisions of the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act 2019 and the various welfare schemes for Transgenders.

Target Group

The target group are the officials of State Social Welfare Departments, middle-level functionaries of State Police Departments, lecturers, readers and field work supervisors of social work Institutions, NGO functionaries, social workers, panchayat functionaries and research scholars.
